Study of agitation by mechanical stirrers in gas-liquid systems
Abstract
Relationships are formulated from which the energy consumption and the characteristic relationships between the hydrodynamic and diffusion phenomena in stirred gas-liquid systems can be evaluated. The basis of these relationships is used to determine conditions for modelling the hydrodynamic and diffusion phenomena and to find methods of quantitatively comparing the efficiencies of stirrers.
