An improved method for measuring the magnetic inhomogeneity shift in hydrogen masers
Abstract
A magnetic inhomogeneity shift which alters a hydrogen maser's flux tuned frequency, and affects hydrogen maser accuracy as well as long term stability was studied. A method is presented which allows all maser frequency measurements to be made at low magnetic field where the hydrogen maser is most stable.
