Symposium on Jet Pumps and Ejectors and Gas Lift Techniques, 2nd, Churchill College, Cambridge, England, March 24-26, 1975, Proceedings
Abstract
Papers are presented on the augmentation of a centrifugal pump with an air ejector for pumping solid/air/liquid mixtures, the entrainment and mixing processes for an air to air jet injector, an experimental study of cold air ejector mixing duct losses for computerized design purposes, and the analysis and testing of two-dimensional slot nozzle ejectors with variable area mixing sections. Also considered are a noniterative calculation method for subsonic ejector flow, the improvement of ejector thrust augmentation by pulsating or flapping jets, gas dispersion in a horizontal liquid jet ejector, and a study of flow mechanisms in a gas ejector. Individual items are announced in this issue.
