Design parameters for transistorized resonant amplifiers
Abstract
Giacoletto's (1954) p-n-p alloy junction transistor hybrid equivalent circuit is discussed and is used to study the operation of a transistorized resonant amplifier. Expressions for the input and output resistances and capacitances of the amplifier's transistor are derived, along with an expression for the resonant gain of a stage. The requirements placed on the properties of the transistor are examined.
