The equivalent-generator method of analyzing synchronization circuits for SHF oscillators
Abstract
The proposed equivalent-generator method is intended for approximate calculation of steady-state operating conditions (synchronized frequency, power levels, synchronization bandwidth, and safe parameter ranges) in circuits for synchronizing several SHF oscillators. The idea of the method is to substitute two mutually synchronized oscillators operating with mismatched loads by a single equivalent oscillator. The use of the technique is illustrated by a sample circuit composed of four oscillators.
