Study of withdrawal and calculation of induced error in electronic measuring devices with a movable part on tension wires
Abstract
The paper analyzes the phenomenon of 'withdrawal' in measuring instruments in which a movable part on tension wires is subject to vibrations. In particular, the effect of withdrawal of the moving part on measuring results is estimated for an oscillographic galvanometer in which the movable part is attached to a thin metal tape under high tension. A simple model is constructed for studying the additional moments and forces acting on the movable part as a result of displacements of the tape tension wire. Methods for reducing the effect of withdrawal are discussed.
