Investigation of the feasibility of decreasing one of the errors of autonomous system of determining the azimuth of a gyrostabilized platform
Abstract
The intrinsic errors of a system for determining the azimuth of the gyroplatform of a triaxial gyrostabilizer are identified and analyzed. It is shown that existing methods of reducing errors are not applicable to the azimuth error caused by spurious moments acting on the stabilization axis of a triaxial gyrostabilizer. A method of reducing this error by diminishing the gyro precession angle is proposed.
