Automatic device for checking the contamination of fluids
Abstract
The device described uses the effect of light scattering by foreign particles suspended in a liquid that is made to pass through a control element in the form of a capillary tube to check the purity of engineering fluids. A He-Ne CW laser is the light source. The device will distinguish particles ranging from 3 to 300 microns in diameter. All counters and analyzers are of IC design. The capacity is 4 to 6 liters per hour.
