Effect of the flame front on the aerodynamics of the fuel-oxidizer jet
Abstract
Test data are presented on the aerodynamics of coaxial jets and flame plumes which exhibit identical initial properties. The velocity and momentum flux distributions in the jet with and without combustion are compared. The effect of the flame front on the jet aerodynamics is explained.
