Optical isolation of laser amplifier stages by means of a rotating mirror
Abstract
A new method to decouple laser amplifiers is demonstrated experimentally. Two iodine laser amplifiers having small signal gains of 600 and 900, respectively, could be optically isolated by means of a rotating mirror with a rotational frequency of 200 Hz.
