Static capacitances of circular ring structures in microstrip technology
Abstract
The characteristics of capacitors in microstrip technology are briefly described. The procedure for the computation of the static capacitance of the considered structures makes use of a partition of the area of the electric field into two zones, including the main field region and the stray field region. A number of graphs show the capacitances of the considered structures as functions of various design parameters. Computational data are compared with experimental results.
