Algorithms for spacecraft entry control
Abstract
The time-, fuel-, and power-optimal reentry controls proposed meet the corridor, guidance, and targeting requirements for entry velocities ranging from orbital to hypercircular. The controls are adapted to onboard digital computers, but the demands to computer capacity are moderate. They are applicable in the presence of considerable disturbances.
