Some characteristics of pulsed holography
Abstract
The paper sets forth the principles of holography using pulsed solid state lasers and investigates in particular the limits that are imposed by the magnitude of the output energy and the single-mode nature of the radiation of pulsed solid state lasers. A relation is derived between the mean grain size of the recording medium and the laser spectral width necessary for most effective use of the available hologram area.
