Measuring equipment for selection and sorting of varactor diodes for simultaneous operation
Abstract
Measuring equipment is described which assorts varactor diodes by 3% capacitance matching at three operating points and sorts them into three groups according to their minimum capacitance and capacitance ratio. Measurements are carried out at two simultaneously operating measuring benches. Digital capacitance data are stored in a semiconductor memory and storage cells are assigned to each diode. When a new diode is found to have a capacitance value previously stored, it is directed to the appropriate storage cell.
