Resonance relationships in the problem of motion of a rigid body in a fluid
Abstract
The paper investigates the steady solutions to the equations of motion of a heavy solid body in a fluid and examines the resonance relationships arising in the special case of Chaplygin integrability. The initial equations are linearized in the neighborhood of the steady solution, and various cases of resonance are discussed and natural frequencies calculated.
