Aperture synthesis in X-ray astronomy.
Abstract
A new method of X-ray imaging is described. By combining a number of collimators it is possible to synthesize a useful aperture to record structure in cosmic X-ray sources. Results from computer simulations show this method to be a practical solution to imaging at many photon energies and in many fields of physics.
