Realization of a programmable ECL memory
Abstract
A description of the ECL 1024-bit programmable memory is given, and the principal problems involved in the realization of a programmable emitter-coupled logic (ECL) memory are explained. Such problems include the choice of the programming method, the reliability of the fuse, the optimization of programming conditions, the analysis of the behavior of the memory components vs the constraints imposed by the programming, and the stability of the nickel-chromium layer.
