Observations of geomagnetic micropulsations on a mid-latitude east-west-profile
Abstract
Geomagnetic pulsations were studied from five identical magnetometer stations installed at invariant latitudes ranging from 49 to 54 deg N and distributed in geographic longitude between 10 and 85 deg E, from August 1 to October 25, 1974. Each station consisted of two magnetometers, a data logger, a timing unit, and a digital tape unit. These compensation-type magnetometers simultaneously recorded micropulsations of the H- and D-components and variations in both components of the geomagnetic field.
