Data pulse design - Intersymbol interference aspects
Abstract
Attention is given to the problem of identifying, from an ensemble of filters, that optimal filter design which maximizes a sampling signal to intersymbol interference noise power ratio. An existence theorem is presented and parallel structures are considered. Illustrated examples are investigated of pulse filter configurations of the parallel structure type which satisfy the hypothesis of the existence theorem.
