Evaluation of the radiation integral in terms of endpoint contributions
Abstract
Evaluation of the Kirchhoff integral which arises in the farfield computation of radiation from large aperture antennas frequently causes computational difficulty. This communication illustrates the utility of evaluating the integral in terms of endpoint contributions. The special case of a pyramidal hornreflector antenna is considered.
