Supplement to 'Decision cells for positional radar identification of satellites'
Abstract
The desirability of an application of three-dimensional statistical decision theory to the radar recognition procedure is considered. Attention is given to the problem in one dimension, the reversibility of a distribution involving pairs of variables, and the calculation of the probability distribution of the radial distance to the joint image. A description is given of an approximate measure of the inefficiency of the image centered decision cell.
