Radiation field from linear antenna in an infinite anisotropic medium
Abstract
An expression for the power radiated from a linear antenna of finite length situated in an infinite, magnetoplasma is derived. The power radiated is calculated for different values of the angle alpha formed by the magnetic field and the antenna axis. The power radiated in the ordinary mode decreases, and that radiated in the extraordinary mode increases with increasing angle alpha.
