Mechanical characteristics of powdered materials in a high vacuum
Abstract
It is shown experimentally that, without preheating, even an ultrahigh vacuum has little effect on cohesion, the angle of internal friction and the angles of slope and breakdown. In the case of preheating in a vacuum, removal of the adsorption films lead to a pronounced increase in the intensity of interaction between particles and to an increase in the parameters studied.
