Digital synthesis of square-wave oscillations
Abstract
A description is given of circuits which make it possible to obtain a square-wave oscillation on the basis of individual digital steps. The circuits can be implemented with components of all logic types. A constant pulse width-repetition ratio under variable frequency conditions is considered and attention is given to a constant frequency in the case of an adjustable pulse width. A frequency synthesis for adjustable pulse width and pulse spacing is also discussed.
