High-speed analog-digital converters - Principles-problems-characteristic values
Abstract
The functional structure of analog-digital converters is examined and the effects of the individual components on the total error are considered. It is pointed out that in very fast systems the dynamic errors are particularly important because of their direct effects on the operation of the converter. Circuit design characteristics are discussed and a description is given of the operational procedures used in the analog-digital conversion. Attention is also given to mechanical design questions.
