Multivibrators based on IC operational amplifiers
Abstract
The article reviews the operating principles of monostable and astable IC multivibrators, and the sequence of voltage changes resulting in flipping of the circuits. Pulse width dependences are emphasized. The article discusses separately: (1) monostable flipflops based on a single operational amplifier; (2) astable flipflops based on a single IC operational amplifier, with feedback loop connecting input and output; (3) astable flipflops based on two IC operational amplifiers, and featuring a pseudostable state.
