The experimental study of turbulence spectra in a two-dimensional heated jet
Abstract
Measurements are presented of the spectra of velocity and temperature fluctuations in the established zone of a two-dimensional heated jet. It is shown that there is no simple connection between temperature field and kinematic field in this type of flow. Different ways of describing the anisotropy show that it is more evident on the axis in the zone where the turbulence is greater.
