Temperature and concentration profiles for a nonthermal oxygen plasma model
Abstract
An extension is considered of a simple model presented by Kastelewicz and Bachmann (1974) for a homogeneous nonthermal oxygen plasma. The extension of the model is concerned with the case of a steady axisymmetrical plasma for which the radial electronic temperature distribution and the gas temperature at the wall are given as boundary values. The model is independent of specific discharge forms. Diffusion processes are not taken into account. The investigation shows a pronounced increase in the ozone concentration in the direction toward the wall.
