Control of a pursuing body
Abstract
Analytic expressions are found for the forces controlling the motion of a pursuing body when the pursued point performs random movements in space. The control forces are such that the velocity modulus of the center of mass of the pursuing object is invariant in relation to these forces, and the position of the body is stabilized relative to a given rectangular coordinate system with origin at the center of mass of the pursuing body. One axis of this coordinate system is on the line passing through the center of mass of the body and the pursued point, the second axis is on the vertical plane, and the third is perpendicular to the first two.
