Formulation of network matrices
Abstract
An algorithm for the generation of the open-circuit impedance matrix, the short-circuit admittance matrix, the hybrid (H)-matrix and the chain matrix (A) of a 2-port RLC network is presented. The method is based on topological formulas and is rendered fast by simultaneous enumeration of the relevant trees, port 2-trees and 3-trees of the graph of the network. A computer program in Fortran is developed using this algorithm.
