Formulation of network matrices
Abstract
An algorithm for the generation of the opencircuit impedance matrix, the shortcircuit admittance matrix, the hybrid (H)matrix and the chain matrix (A) of a 2port RLC network is presented. The method is based on topological formulas and is rendered fast by simultaneous enumeration of the relevant trees, port 2trees and 3trees of the graph of the network. A computer program in Fortran is developed using this algorithm.
