Radio emission from the peculiar nebula M2-9.
Abstract
Observations at a wavelength of 2.8 cm have yielded a flux density of (45 I 7) >c 10-29 W m -2 Hz -` for the nebula M2-9. When combined with the available optical data, this value is found to be surprisingly low and suggests the existence of condensations in the wings of the nebula, together with a dense gaseous core of emission measure 10' cm-6 pc.
