The helium emission-line object G 61-29.
Abstract
G 61-29 showed no major photometric activity in 1974. The radial velocity variations with a total range of 100 km/sec but with no obvious periodicity were present. The He I emission lines are shown to consist of a double component with a peak-to-peak separation of 1300 km/sec and a single component shifted to the red, with respect to the double component, by 75 km/sec. A tentative interpretation of the observed phenomena is given within the hypothesis of a close binary system.
