Curves giving the age of the universe in Friedmann models.
Abstract
Summary. We give a set of curves H0t0 = constant in the observationally relevant region of the ( , o) plane, where H0 is the Hubble constant, t0 the age of the universe, o the density parameter and the reduced cosmological constant. From the analysis of the observational data on H0, t0 and a0, we provide an upper limit to the cosmological constant. Key words: cosmology age of the universe cosmological constant Friedmann models
