Vertical profiles of the quantitative characteristics of the field of short wave radiation in the atmosphere
Abstract
Spectral measurements of upward and downward fluxes of short-wave radiation at different levels in the free atmosphere were obtained during the combined radiation experiment of 25/X/70 in the Complex Energetics Experiment - 70 as an IL-18 flying laboratory made a rapid descent at noon. A detailed description is presented of the apparatus used and of the observation methods and the results obtained. These results are used to determine the vertical profiles of the different quantitative characteristics of the field of short-wave radiation in a clear sky (total radiation current, the albedo of the earth-atmosphere system, the incoming flux of radiant heat, etc).
