Automatic recorder of the tension process for the IMASh-5S-65 facility
Abstract
An automatic precision device is described that will record continuously the tension process in high-temperature tensile tests in vacuum, and will model all the stages of high-temperature heat treatment and machining. Using an improved loading system in combination with the recorder, it proved possible to determine the percent of strain hardening in the austenite of 5KhV2S tool steel, resulting from heat treatment and machining.
