Extension of control techniques for digital control of random vibration tests
Abstract
The basic control algorithm for digitally controlled random vibration tests can be expanded to include more complex test requirements than the single control channel test. Three control techniques (averaging, random-on-random, and response limiting) that were implemented and tested show the flexibility of digital control to adapt to new testing requirements without hardware reconfigurations.
