TV demultiplexer of FDMA repeater
Abstract
Functional details and design requirements are presented for the selected TV demultiplexer concept in the FDMA repeater of a broadcasting satellite uplink. TV words supplied by the series/parallel converter with receive signal bit clock frequency are shifted into the TV demultiplexer at the same frequency and transferred to the digital/analog converters in real time. The demultiplexer separates the receive time obtained from receive signal bit clock, and the transmitter time generated in the satellite. Variations between these times must be compensated for in the demultiplexer.
