Acoustic alteration of speech processed through Air Force aircraft communication systems
Abstract
Speech picked up at the speaker's lips and processed through standard Air Force electroacoustic-communication systems undergoes acoustic alteration that affects intelligibility. Features of such acoustic alteration and its importance to Air Force operations are presented.
