The problem of phase equilibria in the thermostatics of generalized fluids
Abstract
A self-consistent description is given of first- and second-order phase equilibria for a generalized fluid. Equations are found which generalize the classical Clapeyron and Ehrenfest equations. The effects of partial intensive equilibrium on the main equations is discussed.
