Principles of an axisymmetric MPD-accelerator with external magnetic field
Abstract
The functioning of an axisymmetric MPD-accelerator with an external magnetic field is discussed in terms of the mathematical descriptions for current, force, and energy densities. The meridional current distribution and the current-flow coupling are dealt with, along with the optimization of laboratory apparatus X16.
