Interdigital transducers and acoustic-surface-wave filters
Abstract
Problems in the design of surface acoustic wave devices were identified as phase-front distortion, internal reflections, and triple-transit signals. The methods for correcting these problems are illustrated, and it is concluded that the design of surface wave filters is based on the relationship between the interdigital transducer and its corresponding time response.
