Comment on modeling of three terminal devices: A black box approach

Comments on a previous document dealing with the modelling of three terminal devices were presented. It was shown that x-controlled concave and convex resistors can be realized by ideal diodes, two-terminal resistors (linear and nonlinear), and linear controlled sources. From a circuit theoretic point of view, piecewise-linear three terminal elements can be modelled by ideal diodes, linear resistors, independent sources, linear controlled sources, and square law devices.
