Monopulse-radar pointing error due to multipath propagation over a rough terrain
Abstract
Analyses of radar pointing error due to multipath effects usually employ specular terrain models. Since terrain is generally nonspecular at radar frequencies, the specular results can be misleading. A rough terrain model is used and the dependence of pointing error on several antenna, terrain, and geometric parameters (which do not occur in the specular case), is used. A few specular results are given for comparison.
