Calculation of a composite and supersonic flow in a curvilinear conduit
Abstract
The problem is discussed of constructing curvilinear conduit in which a continuous increase in velocity occurs when crossing the sonic barrier. Since reliable methods of calculating a combined and supersonic flow (with an initial streamline of arbitrary form when crossing the sound barrier) are lacking, the following are used: equations of motion, continuity equations, streamline equations, the Bernoulli gas equation, and expressions for the flow function.
