Modeling the radiation pattern of a linear system of discrete emitters
Abstract
Development of a structural scheme for modeling the radiation patterns of linear antenna arrays on an analog computer. Considering the case of a linear array with an amplitudephase distribution which is symmetrical with respect to the array center, a model is constructed which makes it possible to study fairly simply the effect of various amplitudephase distributions on the shape of the radiation patterns of a linear system of discrete emitters, as well as the effect of the respective positions of the individual emitters in a linear system.
