Analysis of dispersion in a double ridged slow-wave system
Abstract
Equations are derived for calculating the dispersion in a double ridged slow-wave system consisting of lamellas of negligible thickness. The equations are simpler than previous equations obtained in a single-beam approximation, but are more accurate. The dispersion of the structure in the passbands and outside them is studied. A Brillouin diagram for the dispersion is constructed for a specific ridge structure.
