Microwave propagation in a cylindrical waveguide with an anisotropic rod
Abstract
Analysis of the field structure in a cylindrical waveguide with an anisotropic crystalline rod which can be used to obtain broadband modulation of optical radiation. The equations for the electric-field power line are obtained for various values of the phase velocity, and the microwave attenuation constant is determined for the case of a waveguide partly filled with an anisotropic crystal.
