Effect of eccentricity of the exciting electrode on the attenuation characteristic of a critical attenuator
Abstract
Study of the effect of an eccentrically located exciting electrode on the formation of higher wave modes in a capacitive type critical attenuator. The dependence of the amplitude ratio of symmetrical E waves of various modes on the displacement of the axis of the exciting electrode relative to the axis of a critical tube is determined for various relative dimensions of the exciting electrode.
