The use of Josephson Effect for the Detection of Far Infrared and Microwave Radiation
Abstract
The theoretical and experimental bases are presented for the application of the Josephson effect for the detection of electromagnetic radiation of astronomical objects in the far infrared, millimeter and centimeter wavelengths. Emphasis is made on the possible application of microbridges to this effect.
