Kinematic error equations for astronavigational systems
Abstract
Astronavigational systems use mechanical and analytical analogs to model three chosen coordinate systems: the horizon system, the terrestrial system, and a system associated with the observed heavenly bodies. The present paper derives equations for the astronavigational system's errors in generating navigational data and in modeling the meridian lines in terms of the errors in the analogs of the modeled coordinate systems. The equations derived can be used for analysis and synthesis of astronavigational systems.
